The VA App Store offers dozens of apps that can help Veterans manage their health care and stay in touch with their VA care team. If you’ve ever wondered if VA apps are secure, now there’s a video to learn more.

The Office of Connected Care developed an informational video, Security and Privacy for VA Apps: Keeping Your Information Safe, to help Veterans understand how VA apps handle your data and keep your online information safe.

The video outlines the two types of VA apps available — self-contained apps and connected apps — and gives you the information you need to distinguish between the two. It explains that all VAs apps are built with the highest privacy and security standards to keep Veterans’ sensitive information safe.

The video also highlights your role in keeping your online information safe, like using passwords to lock mobile devices when not in use.
