VA’s virtual health technologies enable VA care teams to offer high-quality, continuous care options to Veterans. By embracing health technology such as My HealtheVet on VA.govVA apps, and VA telehealth, VA care teams expand Veterans’ access to care, improve their care experience, and empower them to take charge of their health and wellness.

To learn more about how VA care teams can use Connected Care technologies to improve Veteran care, explore the tabs above.

My HealtheVet on VA.gov

My HealtheVet on VA.gov allows Veterans to communicate with their VA health care team, manage appointments, refill prescriptions, access health records online and more.

Secure messaging through My HealtheVet on VA.gov offers a convenient way to stay connected with Veterans between appointments, making it easier to address non-urgent health questions and provide timely care.

Veterans have 24/7 access to the full suite of My HealtheVet tools, services, and more. Visit the My HealtheVet on VA.gov toolkit for informational resources and promotional materials on My HealtheVet. Note that you must have VA credentials and be behind the VA firewall to access the toolkit.

VA App Store

The VA App Store offers a number of mobile apps to help VA health care professionals access information quickly, communicate with Veterans more easily, and save time by managing information on-the-go. VA Telehealth Services

VA Telehealth Services provides clinical care to Veterans remotely.

VA telehealth technologies enhance Veterans’ access to care. For Veterans who live far from VA Medical Centers, have difficulty getting to the clinic for care, or need a specialty service not offered in their area, telehealth enables them to access the care they need.

These are some of the ways in which VA care teams can use telehealth to enhance Veteran care:

  • To conduct real-time, interactive video visits with Veterans and their family members or caregivers.
  • To provide remote health monitoring.
  • To gather and store health data remotely.

Learn more about VA telehealth options by visiting VA Telehealth Services.
