Feeling Sick? 'Stay Home and Phone' is a Safe, Convenient Option

Do you have a fever, cough, or flu-like symptoms? Are you worried it could be a viral illness? VA's virtual care options may be a safer first step than going to an in-person visit, exposing yourself (and others) to more potential bugs and viruses.

Virtual care means you can contact your VA provider (and health care team) through My HealtheVet's secure messaging, receive treatment by telephone, or have appointments with your VA providers through VA Video Connect on your smartphone, tablet or computer. Last year, Veterans had over 20 million virtual engagements with VA.

Connected Care recently published a VAntage Point blog explaining how to get started using VA's virtual care options. Read it here.
