My HealtheVet Assists Veterans Displaced by Hurricane Harvey

In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, local VA care teams are turning to My HealtheVet in their efforts to reach out to Veterans displaced by the flooding.

In one instance, Beaumont VA social worker, Angela Rutledge, says the health portal was instrumental in helping Veterans at a nearby Red Cross Shelter get their prescriptions refilled.

"My HealtheVet has been a lifesaver."
