The 2022 HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition was held in person for the first time since 2019 – and Connected Care was there. HIMSS is an industry-leading annual event that attracts thousands of international health professionals. This year’s conference in Orlando was no exception, with more than 18,000 attendees.

Connected Care was one of 13 different VA groups that participated in an Interoperability Kiosk Showcase spotlighting VA technologies that provide Veterans with seamless care.

Additionally, Dr. Neil Evans, Connected Care Chief Officer, and Dr. Leonie Heyworth, VA Telehealth Deputy Director for Clinical Services, jointly presented a virtual care lessons-learned session on Access, Capacity and Quality in a Pandemic.

Healthcare IT News interviewed Drs. Evans and Heyworth for an extensive preview story about their session. On the day of their presentation, they also sat for a “Live from HIMSS” interview with Government CIO Media.
