VA Medical Center Directors Explain Telehealth for Patient Rehab

Last month, four VA Medical Center Directors who lead VA's TeleRehabilitation Enterprise Wide Initiative (TREWI) were invited to present at the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R) Annual Assembly in San Antonio, Texas. Drs. Marla Kaufman, Molly Matsumoto, Rebecca Tapia and Joel Scholten shared use cases, as well as the benefits and barriers to incorporating video telehealth into rehabilitation medicine services.
