Connected Care Technology on Display at VA Modernization Fair

Flanked by the futuristic telehealth screens of a ClinicalAccess® Station (CAS) cart, representatives from the Office of Connected Care attended the VA Modernization Fair on Jan. 29, 2020, in Washington, D.C. The event's purpose was to highlight recent VA Modernization efforts in the areas of benefits, appeals and technology.

The Connected Care table featured VA virtual health technologies that are expanding Veterans' access to care nationwide. On display were the Annie App for Veterans; the vast array of patient tools available through My HealtheVet; and VA Telehealth Services, including a demonstration of video telehealth and Bluetooth-enabled stethoscopes, scales and electrocardiogram machines.
