Neil Evans, Connected Care Chief Officer, and Acting VA Chief Information Officer, recently participated in Federal News Network’s 2021 Healthcare IT in Government – Federal Executive Forum.
In addition to Dr. Evans, the panel included top government health care IT executives from the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT, Defense Healthcare Management Systems, and Federal Electronic Health Record Modernization. Each shared lessons learned, challenges and solutions, and a vision for the future.
“As we think two or three years in the future, our vision is really that we should be able to provide trusted care, anytime and anywhere. It’s operating more as a real-time health care system … to get people connected with somebody who can address their health care needs,” Dr. Evans said during the forum.
