VHA's Office of Connected Care, in partnership with American Veterans (AMVETS), hosted a Facebook Live event about My HealtheVet Tuesday, June 26. My HealtheVet Director Theresa Hancock, and Director of Dental Operations and Secure Messaging Champion Dr. Gregory Smith sat down with AMVETS National Executive Director Joseph Chenelly. The conversation highlighted how Veterans can use the portal to access their VA health record information and the benefit of having health information available online. They also discussed additional My HealtheVet features, including online scheduling, Secure Messaging and refilling VA prescriptions. During the conversation, Theresa Hancock and Dr. Smith answered viewers' questions live on air, and a panel of subject matter experts from the Office of Connected Care answered the remaining questions in the comment section of the post.
