My HealtheVet on VA.gov Wins Digital Health Transformation Award

The My HealtheVet on VA.gov transition initiative has been named a 2024 GOVTECH CONNECTS Digital Health Transformation Award Honoree. This tech industry award honors federal and military health IT programs harnessing emerging technologies to advance their missions.

The new My HealtheVet on VA.gov is a unified patient portal that combines updated tools and health data from VA’s two existing patient portals, My HealtheVet and My VA Health. VA has been building new versions of these tools in phases, and Veterans have been invited to test each tool as it is completed and provide feedback.

Dr. Meredith Josephs, Executive Director of Connected Health, and Lauren Alexanderson, Office of the Chief Technology Officer Deputy CTO for Health Delivery, recently accepted the award at the inaugural GOVTECH CONNECTS Digital Health Summit ’24 in Falls Church, Virginia. Dr. Neil Evans, Connected Care Chief Officer and currently serving as Acting Program Executive Director for the Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office and Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for Information and Technology and CIO, was one of 20 keynote panelists at the summit.
