VA care teams across the nation are coming up with more and more ways to use VA Video Connect (VVC) for secure video health appointments with Veterans. VISN 4 recently launched a Tele-Urgent Care program that uses VA Video Connect in conjunction with its RN Call Center. VISN 4 spans all of Pennsylvania and parts of Ohio, West Virginia, New York and New Jersey.
"The VA VISN 4 is committed to providing better and more innovative service to our Veterans," the video concludes. "Get care, save time and maximize your day by giving our call center and tele-urgent care a try today."
In Fiscal Year 2019, nationwide use of VA Video Connect increased by 235%. More than 99,000 Veterans used the app for more of the 294,000 video visit appointments.
