Connected Care's implementation strategies lead, Christina Armstrong, Ph.D., was recently invited to present at the HIMSS21 Global Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. She gave the presentation, "COVID-19 Lessons Learned: The Invaluable Need for Virtual Care."
During the discussion, Dr. Armstrong explained how VA was able to rapidly expand telehealth services at the onset of the pandemic. She described the new policies, training, and tools that were required, and she offered virtual care strategies for preparing for future emergencies.
