The Office of Connected Care is proud to announce that Meredith Josephs, MD, MPH, Executive Director of Connected Health, has been recognized as a FORUM IT100 Award winner.
Now in its ninth year, this award honors the top 100 technology leaders from government and industry in the federal health, federal civilian, and defense sectors. Individuals are selected based on their proven record of driving change, fostering groundbreaking innovation, challenging their teams to excel, and garnering outstanding results and positive outcomes.
Dr. Josephs was named to the list for her transformative executive leadership of initiatives that have expanded virtual care adoption among Veterans and VA staff. These include the nationwide expansion of VA Health Chat, the implementation of Virtual Health Resource Centers at 50+ VA facilities and counting, and the successful delivery of new digital engagement solutions — like the Share My Health Data app and the My HealtheVet on VA.gov transition. These programs aim to provide Veterans with exceptional, coordinated, and connected care.
Dr. Josephs and the other 99 awardees will be honored in early December 2024 at a FORUM IT reception in Reston, Virginia.
