Dr. Arash Harzand of the Atlanta VA Medical Center has been named to the VHA Innovation Ecosystem's 2021 Class of Innovation Fellows. Granted a Senior Innovation Fellowship, he will have the opportunity to use the VHA Innovation Ecosystem's community and resources to support the expansion of VA TeleCardiology services.
According to the VHA Innovation Ecosystem fellowship announcement, "Digital Cardiology will work to enable the expansion of TeleCardiology services through widespread implementation and clinical integration of virtual cardiac care. This work focuses on Veteran-facing technologies and the construction of a centralized pathway to identify and evaluate virtual cardiac solutions in partnership with Research and Development."
