National Internet Day, October 29, marks the anniversary of the first internet message sent in 1969. This year, Connected Care celebrated the annual observance by sharing the many ways Veterans can manage their VA health care using the internet – with My HealtheVet, VA Telehealth, and VA Mobile apps.
“VA’s telehealth and digital offerings have been a top priority for many years,” Dr. Neil Evans, Connected Care Chief Officer said. “We want to enhance VA’s service to Veterans by increasing access to virtual care options, and the internet makes all of that possible.”
