Congratulations to VA's Facility Telehealth Coordinators, Telehealth Clinical Technicians, and Home Telehealth Coordinators for winning the 2021 Service to the Citizen: Champions of Change Award. This award recognizes public servants who demonstrate excellence and dedication to delivering services that impact the lives of the public.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the surge in demand for telehealth required an undertaking of unprecedented responsibilities. Together, these health care and technology experts continuously go above the call of duty. In fiscal year 2020, VA served more than 1.6 million Veterans, while another 1.4 million Veterans received telehealth care in the first four months of fiscal year 2021 alone.
