The article was the magazine's December cover story featuring Amazon and other big technology companies' aspirations in digital medicine. The story includes information about VA's accomplishments in using telehealth for chronic disease management and in enhancing access for Veterans living in rural and remote areas.
"We can do more online to help control a patient's high blood pressure or diabetes by talking to them about their meds than we can by putting our hands on them," Dr. Heyworth is quoted as saying.
