Connected Care Innovations Earn 2023 FORUM Health IT Awards

Several Connected Care programs and services are among this year’s FORUM Health IT Innovation Award winners. The following innovations earned three separate awards:

  • Office of Connected Care’s work on Annie, VA Video Connect, and ATLAS
  • VHA Remote Patient Monitoring – Home Telehealth (RPM-HT) national program
  • VHA Remote Temperature Monitoring Innovation Program to Prevent Diabetic Foot Ulcers

This award recognizes and honors the federal health technology and consulting community by celebrating programs nominated and selected by their peers for driving innovation and results across the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Military Health System, the Department of Health and Human Services, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Winners were recognized at the 9th Annual FORUM Health IT Innovation Awards Ceremony and Networking Event on June 7, 2023, at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Prior to the ceremony, the event featured keynote panel discussions among federal government leaders, including Dr. Neil Evans, Connected Care Chief Officer and Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for Information and Technology/CIO Office of Information and Technology.
